Azure Naturals ULTIMATE LIME INFUSED ORGANIC RETINOL

This stuff is so amazing! I love the way it makes my skin feel after applying it, The scent is nice to be around while using, which sometimes isn't the case with some serums and creams. I don't have wrinkles or fine lines yet, I know I will get them, sovI use this anyway to help postpone them. Retinol is actually one of the most effective ways to help prevent or reduce fine lines and/or wrinkles. It's an antioxidant that helps to promote healthier skin growth, and the Vitamin A helps to open pores for easier skin renewal and cleansing. I use this in conjuction with my other Azure products I've written about. I'm still learning to get on a consistent daily regime for my face and body. I received this in exchange for an honest review. You can get yourself some of this to try out on Amazon like a lot of my stuff. Just click on this Organic Retinol infused with Lime link to get some...

The EXPANDABLE HOSE!!! :)

Every year I fight with our garden hose. I use it to water my new garden area, patio plants, and bathe the dogs. And the kids use it to play with in the summer time, so when my lawn guy comes, he has to throw it in the corner. And it's not like it gets wrapped up nicely, so I have to detangle and dekink in order to use it. I love using this hose!!! It hasn't kinked at all on me. It's 100 feet of lightweight dekinkiness ready to use whenever I want! We had a nice day here couple weeks back, almost like springtime. So, I decided to use my new Expandable Hose to wash the car down. I didn't have to fight it like I was wrestling an anaconda!! LOL...this hose is pretty neat! I need another one for the front yard too!
I received this in exchange for an honest review of the product.

Azure Naturals Cucumber Infused Eye Gel

This eye gel from Azure actually helps take care of quite a bit of different issues. It helps with dark circles, wrinkles, helps to plump and tone, and has a few benefits for your skin as far as firming your skin. It's suppose to help reduce or reverse the signs of aging. I actually use it all over my face, even if it is titled Eye Gel. It's not harsh, in fact it's rather fine feeling. Of course, it's organic and contains no GMO's or alcohol which is always a plus for me!
I love the way my skin feels afterwards. I actually try and use it the recommended twice daily, but sometimes forget. I'm still getting use to having a daily regime of facial products, so I haven't gotten on the path of totally consistent. But I will get there. And you should try too if you're like me and don't have one, or your trying to make a new habit of it. I received this product in exchange for an honest review.

AYL Apple Lightning 3ft Charging Cable

Having 3ft to work with on any electronic charger is amazing! This allows all the space needed for still working on your phone or tablet while it is charging. The connections are strong and don't feel like the cheap flimsy kind you get at a gas station or something. I need a few of these in every charger in the house so we don't fight over them. Also one for my daughter because she complains hers is too short for the car jacks and to be comfortable while charging her phone. I received this for free in exchange for an honest review.

LED Bike Lights

These are so cool! I got these because it showed a picture of them being used on bike tires at night. But then when I got the package...it says you can use them on car valves too!! I'm not sure how legal that is around here where I live...but I'm sure in a big city where you can have undercarriage lights it would be okay. For now, my son uses them on his bike. Since it's cold out I haven't let him ride too much, so he hasn't got the full use out of them. But come spring time, he'll be the flashest thing on the block! You can order the LED valve lights on Amazon. They'd make a cool little gift. I received these for an honest review.

Hyaluronic Acid Serum - For your FACE!

So...I have been using this new acid serum for a couple weeks, and I can already tell how awesome it works! This stuff is packed full of vitamins A, C, D, and E! Plus add some retinol in there for extra help, and VIOLA! Healthy, glowing, younger looking you! The vitamin D helps moisturize. I especially love the citrussy smell it has, and the fact that it firms your skin is awesome! I love the way my face feels, especially around my eyes. I feel so smooth, and I love that this is alcohol free. This stuff is really great to have around! I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Popper Stoppers?? For the belly!!!

Miss Oops has a lot of great fashion flunder fixes, beauty fixes, and even pregnancy fixes. That's what I got to try out...the Miss Oops Popper Stopper. Well, it wasn't for me because this baby factory is sadly shut down. Plus, I never popped like that anyway. However, my friend has with each kid. So this time I got her something to help with that. She loves these! She's never tried anything like this before. I remember one time she had worn some shirt in the summer time that I guess just rubbed her wrong on her bellybutton and she complained for days how it left it itchy and raw. This time, she's popping through the winter. So this will help with her itchy sweaters she likes to wear. Our bodies and skin change so much during pregnancy that her itchy sweaters aren't itchy to her normally like they are me. But right now, she's been trying to stray away. She really enjoys having this little cover ups so she can wear her favorite red sparkly one for the holidays. They're simply to apply and don't irritate. I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Organic Total Hair Repair Oil

I was super excited to try this repair oil out. My daughter and I both suffer from dry split ends a lot of times. Hers is mainly from straightening her hair everyday with no heat protection. Mine...well...mine is from years of boredom hair coloring. So when this came in I couldn't wait to use it. The first time I put it on, I thought just as all oil, a lot goes a long way. So don't use too much. You don't need to. And I worked it in from midway down to my ends which are the worst. I just blow dryed a little then styled as usual with my hair. With my daughter, I worked some into her hair midway down to the ends, and she proceeded to straighten as usual. Her hair was so sleek feelings. It doesn't weigh your hair down like most hair products do. I like that you can use it to heal your hair and style at the same time. The Total Hair Repair Oil contains Jojoba oil and Argon oils which are two of my favorite. Foxbrim itself is one of my two favorite companies. I was so glad they let me get a bottle to try. I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

One Sunday Evening with the Tree

So...this is kinda off the normal talk for my review blog...but with it being Christmas time and all I thought I'd share.
It's time to put up the tree...unless you're one of the ones who jumps to set up Thanksgiving night or earlier. I'm a procrastinator and lucky for us, we inherited my father in-law's huge tree that's like 20yrs old. My husband, hates this tree because for the last 10yrs he has been the one dragging the crumbling tree box down his dad's steep stairs with tubs of ornaments following. For 10yrs he has been the one setting it up...fluffing branch after branch, layer on top of layer, and mastering the technique of balancing and wedging the topper on the pole all in one Sunday evening.
This year, he got a break. He's temporarily working evenings, which left me and the kids in charge of carting the three totes of tree and decor out of the garage. This....is day 4! Day 4 of me piece by piece each night working on this tree. No joke. And since it's bigger than any tree I've EVER owned, I decided this year to do a couple rows and then add lights, do a couple more rows, add more lights. Then I ran out of lights. I threw away four 100 count strands of multi-colored lights. Then when I thought I was finally done, plugged, what I thought was my last strand needed, into an outlet so I could make sure THEY worked. They did. So I take them over to tree...stretch them out...plug them to another strand to continue my way to the top, and .......this happened.
Yeahhhhhh....I guess I thought they all worked because it was still kind of balled up when I tested them, and I just glanced at it. The other four strands I trashed didn't light at all, so I just assumed. And assuming got me no where. LOL...well it got me to the fact that: I had to go buy two more boxes of 100 light strands. And...I still need yet one more to light the tree. I haven't worked on it tonight because I've been on here taking care of business, but, this will be 5 days since I started on this tree...four of which I worked on it. Tomorrow my hubby and I are both off, hopefully between family dinner at the parent's house and messing with breaking the horse...we'll have time to finish. However, yet again, he'll probably have it all done in one Sunday evening...like always.
It's only because I did most of the work...ssshhh :)
These were like a blessing in a bottle for us. Our boxer has been having trouble for a while. She either goes slow or not at all when it comes to jumping in the truck or off the couch. There's days when she's bouncing or wiggling like a normal hyper boxer does, and then there's days where she just doesn't want to do anything but lay and wag her nub. The vet had said it could be the onset of arthritis. I'm glad I had the chance to review these in exchange for telling everyone what I thought, because these have helped her be able to move more and she sure does have more days where she wiggles! Just like a boxer should lol. These babies are packed with omega oils, vitamins and anti-oxidants and are said to help rebuild cartilage. I haven't taken advantage of the multi-bottle discount yet, but I suggest doing so if you can. This joint supplement by Peachy Dog is a great thing to have. They're chewable and it's almost like giving you kids their vitamins.I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Magnetic Screen Door

I was so excited to get this!! I've always wanted one, and this made my day when it finally came in. We have a sliding door that no longer has a screen door on it (dogs ran into it and took it out lol), so we just leave the sliding door open. Then guess what happens...flies, and lots of them. It drives me nuts! I want to have that breeze flowing in, but I want the bugs to stay out, and the dogs ruined my screen door.
Using this Magnetic Screen Door though is so easy. You can walk right through, and the dogs can run through. Although they paused the first few times lol. It wasn't hard to put up at all, in fact, I didn't even need the hubby's help. I would love to put one on the front door to so I can really get that big breeze blowing through the house...but my dogs know how to use it to escape. So...they get their freedom to the back yard, and I'll just enjoy the one screen door I have.
Can't wait til Spring starts so I can hang this back up!
Here's the link to get one of these things. I really suggest getting one, especially if you don't have a screen door at all.

Organic Matcha - Ceremonial Grade - Green Tea Powder

Grown in Japan, this can packs a ball of energy, Polyphenols and EGCG. EGCG, also known as, Epigallocatechin Gallate, is a potent antioxidant and helps aid the fight against cancer and other illnesses. This also has a slight sweetness to it that you can barely taste. Now, of course you can make tea with this...after all, that's what it's for. But you can bake with it as well. You can make cupcakes and such. I did a little research because I like to get creative, and you can make pancakes and waffles too. I wonder if you can make cookies and cakes. Anyway, we've all heard that green tea is healthy for you, so it only makes sense to make things out of it. Right?
I love the fact that I can make my own tea, or whatever right here at home or at work. And since this powder increases your metabolism, it should be ok to bake all these sweets with it. LOL...I'm trying to find a loophole here. But seriously, if you love green tea, this is really a great catch. You can get you some on Amazon from Kiss Me Organics at this link below.

At least give it a try.

Permanently Remove Pet Stains and Pet Odors From Carpets

So...
I got to use this stuff as soon as I got home today. Needless to say, one of these dogs of mine just couldn't hold it in today. When the kids and I got home today, we were smacked in the face with a horrible smell, only to find the mess by the back door. So I got the scrub brush and the Pet Urine Odor and Stain Remover bottle that I received a couple days ago, and proceeded to clean. Now, I've noticed that some people say they leave it on the stain for a couple hours or overnight, I didn't. I just put some elbow grease in and the stain and smell are gone. I think I'm going to try it out on some older stains too and see if the cleaner works on those as well. If it does, well, I may have just found my new best cleaning buddy!

Total Hair Repair...for my horrible hair!

I'm horrible to my hair. Even though I don't do it anymore except for once a year usually, I've ruined my hair from dying it. 15 years of randomness hair chemicals being used in my hair. And then you add straightening, perms, it's sort of been put through the ringer. So I was really excited when I saw the chance to try this Total Hair Repair Oil Treatment. It uses 100% plant oils to bring your dull, dead looking hair back to the vibrant health it should be. This treatment oil is made with Jojoba Oil, Oragnic Argan Oil, Sunflower Oil, and Grapeseed Oil to Strengthen hair and provide nourishment, which is what my hair desperately needs. I have learned a little goes a long way though, so don't use too much. I come mine through my ends since that's the worst part of my locks. I did receive this oil in exchange for my honest review.I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Rimini 1500W Tourmaline Ionic Ceramic Professional Hair Dryer by XTAVA

I've spent the last year having my hair yanked out by my hair dryer. I somehow lost the back guard and it sucks your hair in...which is NOT SAFE. But as usual, it still worked so I haven't broke down to get another one. Not until I saw this Rimini. First thing, it is super light. I knew what was in the package, I just thought it'd be heavier. Second, This hair dryer is packed with 1500 watts of drying power. I love how quick it dries as I'm always running late for work anyway, and never have time to dry and style. I go all natural a lot so this helps cut on time. Also, it is a professional grade dryer. So if you're good at styling (I'm not), you could leave like you just got styled at the salon. Lol
I'm really happy with it. And I think you would be too.

2-in-1 Salt and Pepper Shaker!!

This is pretty neat! I love how I only have to keep up with one shaker now instead of two. I used to have two plain grinders for my salt and pepper that were just ok. This 2-in-1 is awesome! I like how I have both my salt and pepper in one device, and it's tall. You shake out of both ends, and what's really neat that my others didn't have, is an adjustable grinder for both the salt and the pepper. You can have it ground really fine or not. Another thing too, it doesn't look like some cheap plastic shaker. The ends are made of stainless steel so it gives it a somewhat classy look. I did in fact receive this in exchange for an honest review. This is a great gift idea for someone...or yourself.
Kuisiware sells these on Amazon. You can get one of these 2-in-1 Shakers as a new addition to your spice arsenal. I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Best Moisturizer Cream

Whoo Hoo!!!
Another serum with Aloe and...yes yes...you guessed it! Vitamin C! I know, I know.
I'm too excited. But seriously, it's a radical freeing, antioxident...for your face! Well, this one is particularly for under your eyes but I'm sure it's ok if it gets on your cheek. The word "facial" is on there after all. Lol. It's a serum to fight wrinkles and dark circles. It's like lotion for your eyes to help lighten and youthfulize (yup, made up my own word) your skin.
There's no funky smell or sticky residue after using this. In fact, I use it in the morning before putting on makeup. I don't have wrinkles yet, or dark circles, but I figured it couldn't help to get on top of the situation before it starts. I'll try to stay as youthful looking as possible (since I plan on acting that way) ;)
Is this enough to say it's your daily dose of Vitamin C? Why no...but a little extra here and there doesn't hurt either.
And if you want to reduce wrinkles and lighten up sun spots, I suggest getting the Anti-Aging Moisturizer and trying it out for yourself.

Handy Pet Brush!

I was so excited to start using this when it came in the other day! I got home from work, opened up the package, and proceeded to brushing of the animals. lol
I have 3 dogs and 2 cats, and none of them have been brushed in a while due to my youngest dog chewing the old one up. The bristles (whatever you call them) aren't too hard for them, and the pad gives so it conforms to their shape as you brush. The only dog that was a little a difficult to brush is our poodle (who desperately needs a cut), because she has thick curly hair. So this brush seems like it pulls more than anything. Of course, so do your fingers if you run them through her hair, she is just in need of a much needed cut. She didn't yelp out or nothing, but I could tell it wasn't going to be pretty. But for the cats and our short haired dogs, this worked great. Plus I think it also gave some itching relief, like a back scratcher. The price isn't bad on this handy brush. I would suggest the Deluxe Pet Grooming Brush for any of your pets...maybe even if you have a guinea pig or one of those long hair, big poofy house rabbits :)
I did receive this in exchange for my honest review upon using it...and...I think I like it. I'm pretty sure my pets do too. Gonna have to figure something out with the poodle though...maybe scheduling a haircut that's a couple months overdue is in order.

NEW!!! London Sessions Album - Mary J. Blige

Okay...
We haven't been together long enough for you all to know what I like and don't like, besides what I do reviews on of course. So...I'm going to take a minute and let you know about some things.
1. Photography
2. Music
3. Artistic anything lol
4. Dirt Roads
5. Traveling
6. Fashion

I told you all of that, so I you'd know what I was up to....and so I could tell you all of this! :)

I'm going to tell you about a brand new album I just listened to over the last couple of days. I know you all have heard of Ms. Mary J.
And over the years she has hit some numbers with her words. In 1992 she became one of the top Hip-Hop performers out there, and by the millennium was known as "Queen Mary" by her fans. Although with life and so many new artists, I honestly haven't heard any of her new stuff since her "No More Drama" hit in 2001. I have to say, I may not favorite all of her songs made, but I do have some new favorites by her now. Her new album; London Sessions, is set to hit markets here in the U.S. December, 2nd.
This album is more of a therapeutic sense of nature, and was created in a one month studio run set in...yes...London.

And right now, my favorites off this new album are:

  • Whole Damn Year
  • Therapy
  • When You're Gone
And my favorite of the album list, is "Mr. Wrong" featuring Drake. I love the beat and the collaboration of vocals in this one! My main thing with all her songs has always been, she's real. She's real when she sings. It's not fake, it's stuff she's been through, currently experiencing, or has learned and overcome.

On a serious note though, any music lover, especially of soul/hip-hop is going to wanna land this album when it drops. There is a song in here for everyone that speaks to their heart. Definitely need to have this on your Christmas list for 2014.

Old Factory Candles

Oh......my.......this is my first time ever being around these particular brand of candles. I love candles. I love the smells, sometimes the looks are too pretty to burn, but I eventually do burn them. These though...these candles are AMAZING. First of all, I loved the box they came in. It was sectioned off, and each candle had it's own little slot. Just like the picture shows. Now, once you take off the lid on one of these babies, they smell sooooo good! At first I just wanted to sit there and inhale the scent rather than light them. LOL.
But they burn really good, and the wick doesn't just disappear on you like some do when they burn. So relighting was no biggie :) They also have lots of different combinations of scents. Not scents mixed in one...but three different scents sent in the box. You can pick which ones you want. The other picture shows their "menu". If you'll notice, under each category there's three scents listed. That would be three different candles that will come. Which means more for your money. So head over to Amazon, and search Old Factory Candles and they should pop up. From there you choose your scent package. And hopefully you're not all clogged up when they get in. It'd be horrible if you couldn't smell anything when these babies got to your house

Harcas Knife Sharpener

Happy Saturday peekers!! Tonight I'm reviewing the cute lil' blue buddy (there's also red ones) I received recently. This is a small yet durable little knife sharpener .It can easily become your new kitchen buddy. It's different from the other one I recently reviewed as this one is a little round sharpener that stands probably about 3-4in tall as opposed to the handheld one I have. It has a little lever on the side that when pushed down somehow locks it onto the counter so it doesn't slip when using. I haven't figured that part out yet, but it seems simple, yet strong enough to hold it still. I mean you really have to force it to get it to move from the spot unless you lift the lever. You can keep this guy on your counter or in a drawer as he doesn't take up much space either way. I however, keep him by my knife holder on the counter in the corner since he can stay put. And he's easily located where we can use him quickly.
If you decide you need a new sharpener, you can get one on Amazon. And it's not just for knives, you can sharpen other things too. The description says you can even sharpen blender blades. That excites me since I have plenty of those, but I've yet to try those on it.
Anyway...here's the link to be able to get one of these lil' dudes.

Fruit Popsicle Molds - So Cool! :)

So let me tell ya...these are so cool! Literally (ya know...freezer cool) lol
Seriously though...what I did with my set, is made homemade juicicles (I made up a word there). Since I own a couple of juicers, I had some fun. So what I did was juiced some fruits, put a little of the fruit back in the juice, and poured it in the molds and froze. After they were done, we had homemade juice pops. All organically grown fruit, so it's a healthy treat for the kiddos. These molds are pretty tough. They're aren't the cheapo kind that feel like they're gonna crack on you. My oldest likes to invent her own recipes, and usually ends up with great tasting meals. I wonder what kind of mix she could come up with to use these molds with. Whatever she decides with these, I'm sure will taste great, and look super cute too! There's enough for a small sleepover for the kiddos and their friends, and they could even get involved in making them as sort of an activity for the night. Each kid gets their own color. Anyway...one could come up with many ideas for these neat Fruit Popsicle Molds.
The first idea one should have is..."These sound so cool! I should get some for the kids"
Here's an example off the seller's link.
I think next time, we'll grab some kiwi to add in the molds with the juice.

YĆ¼mi Signature Antioxidant Skin Care Serum

This stuff is ....AMAZING! I've told you before that I love anything with Vitamin C in it, but Yumi goes above and beyond. It's hydrating, and helps heal damage done to your skin from just being out in the world. I mean check out these ingredients.

Pomegranate, Kale, Goji Berry, Green Tea, and many others that you wouldn't find in such an affordable skin serum. Who wouldn't want to put all this on their face?! The best part? It doesn't have a funky smell like some serums do. I enjoy using this serum too! Not only did they think of everything to put in this anti-aging, radiant skin serum, but they packaged it in such a pretty printed squirt bottle. It's perfect to keep in your purse and doesn't take up hardly any room on your bathroom counter or vanity.
I scored mine here:

Vitamin C Lotion [Natural & Organic] Review

Ok...So I have become addicted to using anything with Vitamin C in it. I love the eye gels, I love the serums, and now...well now I've found a new favorite!!
This new Vitamin C Lotion feels great going on and leaves my face so soft all day. I put it on in the mornings before work. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and I feel like it looks clearer. It's made to lighten dark spots and reduce wrinkles. I use it to keep my face looking radiant. It's infused with of course Vitamin C, Aloe Vera, Shea Butter, and Jojoba Oil.
This could very well be your next favorite lotion. It is mine!

You can get yours on Amazon:

Selfie Stick...yup! That's right!

I hinted to this a few days ago to my readers....but...a Selfie stick? What in the world??! That's what I thought when I took on this strange...yet handy contraption. Why didn't I think of this?! Talk about awesome angles and multitasking! You can get awesome group shots and yes...selfies too. It's basically an extension of your arm. In fact...as an extension, it also slides down to fit into your bag or purse. It has a Bluetooth remote shutter on the handle to be able to take great shots with ease. It's compatible with a lot of smart phones which makes it universal for use. This would make a great Christmas gift for your avid selfie taker in your family...especially if it's you ;)

Bad Doggy Breath? Get this!

I have three big smelly dogs! No really...I do. And I can handle dirty dog smell...but I HATE bad doggy breath! So, to help take care of that easily, I ordered the Dental Care for Dogs Breath Freshner. This stuff smells so good that I was tempted to use it...just kidding. It does smell good though. Not sure how it tastes and if the dogs enjoy it, but I enjoy smelling minty doggy breath! And the best part is it's healthy for your furry family members. It contains natural ingredients like mint and thyme. Thyme is excellent because it's a natural disinfectant.
I wonder if they have this for kitties... Grab one of these bottles, you'll be impressed.

I was so excited to order and receive this waist trimmer ab belt. I needed something to help boost my weight loss and gear up my exercise activities. It also doubles as great back support. I highly suggest this Waist Trimmer Ab Belt for anyone wanting extra results and added back support.

Loose Leaf Tea Infuser

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this Loose Leaf Tea Infuser!! This is the neatest contraption ever! I received it a couple days ago, but I was waiting for my mint leaves to dry out. I stuffed the leaves inside the metal colander part, and when I got to work I put some hot water from the coffee machine in a cup, and let the Infuser sit. The aroma was AMAZING and the tea was wonderful! I was able to make three fresh cups of tea before my flavoring faded. This Infuser is so portable and easy to use. I highly recommend this little thing!!

Hit Amazon and snag one of these up. I chose red, but there are different colors to choose from.

All the new stuff...

Well...
Since starting this review blog a couple weeks ago, I have received quite a few neat things. One in particular that got my attention was...get this...a SELFIE STICK. Lol!! Yes...a stick that holds your phone and acts like an extension of your arm. Can't wait to try it out and see what kind of angles it can do! I'm so glad my friend turned me onto doing product reviews. I get to tell everyone how great...or ridiculous a product is while trying them out. I'll post a selfie next week. Lol

Garcinia Cambogia Supreme

I decided to try this product after recommended by a friend. I have been trying to live a more healthier lifestyle by using as much organic and natural stuff as I can. So getting this product was exciting to me. I take 3 an hour before a meal every day. I have noticed this past week I am not hungry at work during my normal hunger pain times. Only way I can verify that for myself is the couple days I forgot to take the pills, I had become hungry at times I hadn't been during the week. Garcinia Cambogia is actually a plant native to Indonesia. They extract the nutrients from the rind of the fruit as it is in this that the Hydroxycitric Acid comes from. That is the key ingredient in this all natural weight loss supplement. You can get yours at amazon.

If you're looking for an all natural way to lose or maintain your weight, give this a try.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Blogging? I'll try anything once...lol

A friend/coworker of mine showed me how I can participate in product reviews. I've never done anything like this. I mean, I may have blogged on Facebook from time to time leaving reviews or suggestions about a new place of business or product I've tried. However, I've never had an actual blogging site...so here we go! Stay tuned.
